Chelsea & Michael | Wedding | Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden Paradise

On July 18th, I had the opportunity to 2nd shoot for the great Nathan Nowack (www.weddingsbynathan.com) for the wedding of Chelsea and Michael. When I first stepped on to the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden Paradise at Cal State Long Beach, I was awed by the beautiful lanscape that stood in front of me. It was still open to public when I got there and I had the opportunity to feel the tranquility of this gorgeous garden. In just an hour, the crew working here transformed the garden into a beautiful location for the wedding of Chelsea and Michael.

The wedding started in the early evening and carried on through the night as guests and family celebrated this special day with Michael and Chelsea. The music played by the DJ was very complimentary to the location and for even more entertainment, they had a photo booth available for guests. I feel humbled and privileged to have the opportunity to be part of this beautiful wedding and shoot along Nathan. I also want to say a Hi to Allison (Nathan’s fiance) who was the assistant for the day.

Dina & Michael | Wedding | Irvine, Ca

On July 24th 2010, I had the privilege to assist Henry Chen (www.henrychenphoto.com) for the wedding of Dina &  Michael in Irvine. It’s alway’s a great experiencing working with Henry, as not only do I get too watch a professional at work but also get critical and important feedback from him during the wedding regarding photography. I am so grateful that he has allowed me to assist and learn from him.

Now onto the wedding. This wedding had all the key parts to make it such a beautiful memorable wedding: Great Locations (Irvine Hyatt and Archangel Michael Church), a live band, a party atmosphere and two of the nicest loving people, Dina and Michael. I captured some detail photos from the wedding. Enjoy.

Luna | Baby Session | Los Angeles, CA

Say Hi to Luna!! She’s the beautiful baby of Wonder and Amanda out in Los Angeles.  A friend of mine had asked if I was willing to take some baby photos for a friend of hers. I was more than happy when she asked and went out to meet Luna. It wasn’t hard for me to take pictures of this gorgeous baby. She was a great model all day, giving me one pose after another all day long. She has a signature pose when she sleeps, she raises her hand and lays her hand on top of her hand (see photo below). We had a great time trying to catch her attention, having Sharol be my assistant throughout the shoot and trying on new outfits for Luna.

Luna has one of the most beautiful eyes ever. And her smile, there is no way you can not fall in love with that smile. After a great photo shoot, we all went out to eat Boiling Crab. If you haven’t been there, check it out!!

Sneak Peak: Baby Shoot | The most adorable baby: LUNA

Say hi to Luna!

Jamie & James | Engagement Session | San Jose, CA

Let me introduce you to Jamie & James, two lovebirds that are getting married in November of this  year. James is a good friend of mine that I met in college. Over the years, we have built a great friendship and I’m real excited to see him get married to the lovely Jamie. James and Jamie had previously known each other from church but lost contact as they grew up. On one Sunday afternoon, James went to church and saw Jamie who seemed very similar but couldn’t recognize. Little did he know that she was the girl that he had a crush on way back in middle school. It was the same Jamie all grown up. As he mustered the courage to talk to her, he was surprised that she remembered him. One conversation led to another and here they are today about to get married in a couple of months.

I had the privilege to have a fun filled afternoon with them at Santana Row in San Jose, for a quick engagement session. It was great to capture some great images of Jamie and James in a busy packed Saturday afternoon. If your familiar with Santana Row, you know how busy it can get during the weekends. But we were sneaky enough to grab some fun and hot pictures while also enjoying the scenery. Enjoy the photos.
