Laguna Beach Tivoli Terrace – Aaron and Lauren’s Wedding

A couple weeks ago, I was honored to be a second shooter for Dominick Mauro (www.dominickjr.com) at the wedding for of a very fun couple – Aaron and Lauren.  We got the day started at Hotel Laguna, where both Aaron and Lauren were getting ready at.  Once ready, the bride and groom met up in the courtyard for a photo shoot with their bridesmaid and groomsmen. We then moved on to Tivo Terrace down the street for the ceremony and the reception.  It was a very fun time shared by everyone.  Aaron and Lauren made sure everyone, including myself was a having a great time at the wedding.  It was an amazing night.

Fullerton, Hillcrest Park – Michelle and Michael E-Session

This past weekend I had the privilege to Michelle and Michael’s e-session. Michelle contacted me through my website and had inquired about shooting her wedding at the end of this month. While emailing back and forth, I asked is she had done her e-session yet and she told me she hadn’t yet but would love to. I asked her where she would like to shoot the e-session and she chose Hillcrest Park in downtown Fullerton. It’s a large beautiful park in the middle of Fullerton. It was a cloudy day but it didn’t matter because Michelle and Michael was so much fun.

The Photographer

Welcome to my website! My name is Jaemi Suh and I’m currently based out of Irvine, CA.  I have been doing wedding photography since 2009 and have realized this is where my passion lies. I love capturing the timeless memories, the unexpected shots, and the beauties of people’s emotions. Instead of boring you, I’ll give you a quick summary of myself:

I am: a big sports fan (Football, Basketball, Baseball and MMA), a snowboarder, a tech junkie, artist, photographer, and a big dreamer.

I love: my family, friends, traveling, taking pictures, being active, playing sports, and meeting new people.

Could you tell me. My husband and I are looking for a gift for our daughter who just graduated from the Art Institute and we are interested in buying her a camera. Without asking her, to blow the surprise, we’ve been speaking to other photographers. Could you give us any advice or tips in searching for a camera to buy her? What camera are you using? etc…

Long Beach, Hotel Maya – Sharol & Felipe’s Wedding

Sharol and Felipe are great friends of mine and it was such a joy and pleasure to shoot their wedding as a guest. They had their wedding at the newly renovated Hotel Maya in Long Beach, CA. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and the weather couldn’t be better for a nice outdoor wedding. People from all over the world was here to be part of this beautiful wedding. Sharol looked gorgeous in her Wedding Dress, turning heads with her stunning smile. Felipe was looking fresh and happier than ever.  A beautiful wedding with great people and a fun atmosphere, can’t get any better.

My First Blog

This is my first blog on this site. Hopefully, it will end up being a blog of photos from weddings and engagement sessions, along with anything photography related. Not sure how the setup of photos are on this site but I’ll keep on working on it as its a work in progress.  As time progresses and as I learn how to use WordPress more proficiently, I’ll go on and update the layout to make it more eye pleasing. For the time being, this site along with the blog will be a work in progress. Hang in there with me. Thanks everyone.
