Luna | Baby Session | Los Angeles, CA

Say Hi to Luna!! She’s the beautiful baby of Wonder and Amanda out in Los Angeles.  A friend of mine had asked if I was willing to take some baby photos for a friend of hers. I was more than happy when she asked and went out to meet Luna. It wasn’t hard for me to take pictures of this gorgeous baby. She was a great model all day, giving me one pose after another all day long. She has a signature pose when she sleeps, she raises her hand and lays her hand on top of her hand (see photo below). We had a great time trying to catch her attention, having Sharol be my assistant throughout the shoot and trying on new outfits for Luna.

Luna has one of the most beautiful eyes ever. And her smile, there is no way you can not fall in love with that smile. After a great photo shoot, we all went out to eat Boiling Crab. If you haven’t been there, check it out!!

Jamie & James | Engagement Session | San Jose, CA

Let me introduce you to Jamie & James, two lovebirds that are getting married in November of this  year. James is a good friend of mine that I met in college. Over the years, we have built a great friendship and I’m real excited to see him get married to the lovely Jamie. James and Jamie had previously known each other from church but lost contact as they grew up. On one Sunday afternoon, James went to church and saw Jamie who seemed very similar but couldn’t recognize. Little did he know that she was the girl that he had a crush on way back in middle school. It was the same Jamie all grown up. As he mustered the courage to talk to her, he was surprised that she remembered him. One conversation led to another and here they are today about to get married in a couple of months.

I had the privilege to have a fun filled afternoon with them at Santana Row in San Jose, for a quick engagement session. It was great to capture some great images of Jamie and James in a busy packed Saturday afternoon. If your familiar with Santana Row, you know how busy it can get during the weekends. But we were sneaky enough to grab some fun and hot pictures while also enjoying the scenery. Enjoy the photos.

Chi & Lynn | Engagement Session | Los Gatos, CA

Let me introduce you to Chi & Lynn. Chi is an old high school friend of mine that I haven’t seen since back in the days. I was in for a surprise when he contacted me regarding photographing his wedding. I was so delighted to hear that he was getting married and chose me of all people to document this wonderful day. I thank both Chi and Lynn for giving me the opportunity to capture their special day. Back in High School, I remember Chi teaching me how to do moves on Street Fighter II for the Super Nintendo. He was one of the cool ones to have a Neo Geo back then too.

Bring it back 2010, I had the pleasure of meeting both Lynn and Chi in downtown Los Gatos for a gorgeous day of portraits. I had a great time getting to know Lynn and chatting it up with Chi about the old days. Lynn and Chi met through work and met again through mutual friends. The more I got to know them, the more I felt like one of their friends. They were so welcoming and nice throughout the shoot. They even brought their dogs and a great friend that was willing to watch the dogs during the shoot too. I can’t wait until August to capture their wedding day.

John & Nathasha | Engagement Session | La Canada, CA

Nathasha contacted me regarding an ad I had put out in Wedding Bee. She was actually the first person to reply to my posting and I was thrilled to hear from her. After she filled out the questionnaire I had sent her, I knew her fiance was Asian as John’s last name was Hong. I thought either Korean or Chinese and I was correct, he was Korean. What I didn’t know was Nathasha was a EuroAsian (Half Korean/Half Cacausion).  I loved how John kept Nathasha smiling at all times, you could easily see how much in love they were.

It was a hot day out in La Canada but not hot enough to slow down John and Nathasha. They were so cute together, always constantly laughing and smiling at one another.  Thanks Nathasha and John for a great time, I hope to work with you guys  soon!
