11.22.2010 – Wanna meet two really cool people? You have to meet Jessica & Darryl and the rest of their family. They are all mostly from Honolulu, Hawaii and came out to Los Angeles to get married while on vacation. It all just happened to work out as every November, the whole family gets together in California to spend a whole week enjoying the wonders of Southern California. There was some worry from friends and family regarding the weather, as it was raining the previous days. Like the weather gods knew it was a wedding day, the day coudn’t have been nicer. It was a little chilly but a gorgeous afternoon in Long Beach.
For my last wedding of 2010, I was able to 2nd shoot once again for the very talented photographer Nathan Nowack of (www.weddingsbynathan.com). We started the day at the Residence Inn at Long Beach, capturing Jessica and Darryl getting ready for their big day. As they were getting ready, everyone was so nice and welcoming during this time. Afterwards, we headed towards Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at Cal Stat University at Long Beach for the ceremony. Jessica and Darryl’s closest friends and family gathered to witness this very beautiful, intimate occasion. We ended the night with at the Reef’s restaurant in Long Beach over looking the beautiful beach and the downtown Long Beach skyline. The view was nice but the love that filled the reception room was priceless. The night ended with a banzai from the dad of the groom and sake shots with the photographers and the wedding party. Days like this are what I live and work for! Congratulations Jessica and Darryl and hope you a great time on your trip to Disneyland.
